In October of 2014, Richard Acala invited artists Pier and Ponci to paint The Morrissey Flynn Building, located at 3647 40th St in Sacramento, California. The mural pays homage to Dr. Flynn, who works part time in the Oak Park clinic donating his time providing women’s services, and helping heroin addicts improve their lives. The symbols on the mural are painted in Celtic and African, representing protection, as well as Aztec, Kanji, and African, symbolizing strength.
